Most custom sportswear suppliers are built for school districts and semi-pro clubs. Their minimums, their pricing and their timelines assume you are ordering 200 pieces. If you run a 12-player roster, a Sunday league side, a small gym or a family business team, you get pushed to the back of the queue or told to order more than you need.
It does not have to work that way.
Why the minimum exists – and why ours is 15
Every custom order has a fixed setup: artwork preparation, colour matching, printing the transfer, and setting up the production line. That setup is the same whether you order 15 jerseys or 500.
15 is the number where a small team can still get a good per-piece price without buying uniforms for players who do not exist. Below 15, the setup cost takes over – which is why sample orders are quoted case by case rather than listed.
What 15 pieces gets you
Exactly the same product as a 200-piece order. There is no "small order tier" with cheaper fabric or fewer print colours:

- Production in 2-4 weeks, then 5-12 days shipping to the US, Canada or the EU
How small teams usually split 15 pieces
- A 12-player roster plus 3 spares for late signings and replacements
- A 13-player cricket or basketball squad plus 2 for the coach
- A local business team with 10 players and 5 staff shirts in the same design
- A memorial order for a squad plus immediate family
Mixing youth and adult sizes inside one order costs nothing extra, so a team with a couple of younger players does not need a separate order.
How to make a small order feel worth it
- Order the spares. Two or three extra pieces cost very little now and save a reprint later.
- Ask about the next price break. It is worth knowing whether 25 pieces costs much more than 15 – it usually does not.
- Combine with other teams. A club with a senior and a junior side can reach 30 pieces in one order and a better rate.
- Consider t-shirts or hoodies. We have no minimum on custom t-shirts and hoodies, so supporters can order their own without adding to the squad order.
